Continuing Our Global Expansion

This article was published on May 26, 2020

This week we were excited to announce the opening of our new headquarters for North America in San Francisco. The news closely follows the opening of our APAC HQ and London office, and is a key milestone in our international expansion.

The advantages San Francisco brings made it a clear winner for our regional headquarters. Already home to many of the world’s leading IT firms, the move brings us closer to Salesforce as we develop our well-established partnership and perfectly positions us to support our existing customer base while maximising opportunities in one of our highest growth regions.

Our true cloud technology makes the customer contact centre capability accessible for businesses of all sizes, and the growth opportunities in the US are huge. Gartner released an interesting report last year about Software as a Service (SaaS) and the global spending forecast. It found that the US currently represents the largest opportunity for SaaS, and is the most mature of the regional markets, partly due to a highly distributed workforce. In fact SaaS revenue reached $9 billion last year.

NewVoiceMedia’s growth is already outpacing the market by 200% each year and we now serve tens of thousands of agents in 30 countries. Many of those are in the US and we have doubled our number of staff over the last year to meet the increased demand for our technology.

As for the office itself, we’re occupying a contemporary, stylish office on the 36th floor of the Spear Tower in the One Market Street Business Center. It’s a 42-storey landmark skyscraper at the waterfront end of Market Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District and offers spectacular views of the bay and city skyline. The building is home to one of the city’s top restaurants and overlooks the Ferry Building, with its shops and gourmet marketplace. We’re also fortunate to benefit from excellent transport links as the area is well served by bus and train lines. It really is a fantastic space and location that will support our US expansion and where our sales and marketing teams will feel proud to work and invite customers.

San Francisco is famous for many things – the bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, the most crooked street in the world… but above all, it is a leading hub for high-tech innovation. We’re thrilled to have hopped across the pond and look forward to exciting times ahead of us.
